The first concept uses monolithic blocks of Italian Calacatta Gold marble, 50mm thick. The reception desk is shaped as a massive bastion with smooth rounded corners. The countertop is a single solid marble slab, 4 meters long, with no joints. Facades are finished with hand-patinated brass overlay. Built-in warm-spectrum LED lighting (2700K) accentuates the stone texture. Inside — safe deposit boxes with electronic locks. Dimensions: 4500×1000×1200 mm. Weight — approximately 1200 kg. Golden Ratio
The second concept is built on golden ratio proportions — a symbol of harmony and mathematical precision. The reception desk is made of dark stained oak with brass inlay strips forming a golden ratio pattern. Countertop of Absolute Black granite, 40mm thick, with polished finish. What is the golden ratio and why is it needed?
The golden ratio (Phi = 1.618) is a mathematical proportion found in nature (seashells, galaxy spirals) and perceived by humans as the most harmonious. We use this proportion to calculate all desk dimensions: if the length is 4050 mm, then the width is 4050/1.618 = 2503 mm, the height is 2503/1.618 = 1547 mm, and so on. This creates a subconscious sense of correctness, stability, and reliability — exactly the qualities Sberbank should convey.
How durable is Calacatta Gold marble?
Calacatta Gold is one of the world's most durable marbles. Its density is 2700 kg/m³, Mohs hardness is 3-4 (sufficient for countertops). The material withstands loads up to 1500 kg/cm², resistant to abrasion. The polished surface retains its shine for decades. Marble doesn't absorb moisture (water absorption under 0.3%), doesn't fade. We use 50mm thick slabs — twice the thickness of standard countertops, providing additional strength and monumentality.
What is BR4 armored glass and what does it protect against?
BR4 (Bullet Resistant level 4) is a protection class for armored glass under European standard EN 1063. Glass 25mm thick withstands 3 shots from a 9mm Luger (357 Magnum) handgun at 5 meters distance. Multi-layer construction: tempered glass + polycarbonate + tempered glass. On bullet impact, the outer layer cracks, but the inner polycarbonate layer absorbs energy and prevents penetration. This ensures bank staff safety while maintaining visual contact with clients.
How do Suprema biometric access systems work?
Suprema is a world leader in biometric security systems. We use fingerprint scanners with Live Finger Detection technology — impossible to fool the system with a dummy or photograph. The scanner recognizes fingerprints in 0.3 seconds with 99.9% accuracy. The database is stored in encrypted form, compliant with GDPR and Russian Federal Law 152 on personal data. The system integrates with HID RFID readers for two-factor authentication: card + fingerprint.
What are Kaba Mauer safe deposit boxes?
Kaba Mauer is a Swiss manufacturer of top-tier safe locks used in banks worldwide. We integrate concealed safe deposit boxes with Kaba Mauer electronic locks into the reception desk for storing documents, seals, and valuables. The locks have Class A burglary resistance (highest), opened only by electronic key or PIN code. The system logs all openings with timestamps and users. This ensures document security and compliance with Central Bank requirements for banking premises.
Why does the desk weigh 1200 kg? Isn't that too heavy?
The 1200 kg weight is an advantage, not a drawback. The Calacatta Gold marble slab, 4 meters long and 50mm thick, weighs approximately 600 kg. The reinforced steel frame to support this weight — 400 kg. Security systems (safe deposit boxes, armored glass) — 200 kg. What warranty covers marble and security systems?
We provide an extended warranty: 10 years on construction (marble, frame, facades, brass elements) and 5 years on security systems (Suprema biometric scanners, HID RFID readers, Kaba Mauer safe locks, armored glass). This is 3-5 times more than the standard warranty on office furniture. During the warranty period, we fix any manufacturing defects free of charge. We also provide annual free technical maintenance of security systems: biometric checks, software updates, scanner calibration.
How to care for the marble desk?
Calacatta Gold marble with polished surface requires minimal maintenance. For daily cleaning, a damp soft cloth with neutral detergent (pH 7) is sufficient. Avoid acidic agents (vinegar, citric acid) — they can damage the polish. We treat marble with a special hydrophobic coating that protects against stains and moisture. We recommend professional polishing every 3-5 years to restore mirror shine. Brass elements are wiped with special brass cleaner monthly to preserve the patina.
